Bank of Israel – renovation of the historical building, Jerusalem
In 2006 the bank put out an invitation to bid, which we won. The project includes an extensive renovation including expansion of the iconic building (approx. 21,000 m2), setting up a new security check layout and planning it as part of the bank’s entrance foyer design. A large team of consultants worked on the design until 2013. Concurrent to preparing a master plan for us to develop the bank complex, we also planned the bank’s new infrastructures and office building on a 7,500 m2 area. The design was submitted to the winning contractor using DBOT and the work is expected to be completed in 2020.
